As Partner, Dentons Global Client Development and Women’s Clients & Markets, Kate
spearheads the Firm’s global efforts to ensure the full and equitable participation of women in client relationships across the globe and also leads the Firm’s global client listening program. Kate has a keen understanding of the critical role that diverse and inclusive teams and perspectives play in driving new ways of thinking and positioning organizations to meet the challenges and opportunities of the current era and in delivering better solutions to clients. She works closely and collaboratively with clients and with Dentons teams across multiple functions, including Clients & Markets, Talent, Innovation and with our Nextlaw In-House Solutions advisory, in supporting and advancing innovation in service delivery strategies and approaches.

Prior to taking on her current global role, Kate served as Dentons' Canada Region Chair of Diversity and Inclusion from 2006 until 2018 and is a recognized leader in diversity and inclusion. During her tenure, Dentons was named one of Canada’s Best Employers for New Canadians (2009-2013), one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People (2012,2016) and one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers (2011-2018).

Kate has been recognized with a Catalyst Canada Honours Award, a Leaders to Be Proud of Leading Executive Ally Award and was the recipient of a Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of her contributions in advancing diversity and inclusion.
